I went to Cosentino's in downtown KC after work to get part of Megan and Song's respective wedding presents. Then I had to go shopping for an outfit for Megan's wedding and for the rest of their presents. Some Iowa State fans stopped me in the parking lot for directions to the Power and Light District. Iowa State is playing my alma mater K State today. I thought I was very respectful and polite to them :)

The fam and I went to Waxman candles in downtown Lawrence. This was a yarn exhibit in an old dresser. I got a candle with a spooky tree and bats for Halloween!

Teaching an old dog a new trick- we got Lucky to sit and stay and then I put a bone on his nose to eat! It took awhile, since he's used to just sitting for a treat. :)

I heard there was an accident on the highway downtown where I would need to drive home after work, so I took a longer way to get to i-35 and avoid i-70. That way took me past The Fireman's Memorial fountain- very pretty!
